Emergency lighting for safe escape routes and reliable evacuation
Visible escape routes and exits, exactly when it matters most.
Properly functioning emergency lighting is indispensable for safety within your building. In the event of a power failure, fire or another emergency, the people present must be able to leave the premises quickly and safely. With the right emergency lighting, escape routes, exits and safety provisions remain clearly visible when it is needed most.
We advise on, supply, install and maintain emergency lighting fixtures for a wide range of buildings and organisations, tailored to the layout of the premises, the escape routes and the applicable safety requirements.
Installation of emergency lighting
When installing emergency lighting, correct positioning is of great importance. Fixtures must be placed in logical and clearly visible locations, such as at emergency exits, stairwells, corridors, changes of direction and key safety provisions.
Our engineers provide expert assembly, correct connection and careful checking. In doing so, we work in accordance with the applicable standards, including NEN-EN 50171 and NEN 1010.
Inspection and maintenance of emergency lighting
The presence of emergency lighting does not automatically mean that safety is sufficiently guaranteed. Fixtures may have defects that are not immediately visible, such as batteries with insufficient capacity, faulty light sources, outdated pictograms or contamination.
During inspections we check, among other things, the operation of the fixtures, the battery capacity, the visibility of the pictograms and the position of the emergency lighting. Any defects are identified in good time and repaired where necessary.
Repair, replacement and advice
When emergency lighting no longer functions properly or no longer suits the current situation, we advise on repair, replacement or expansion. We also re-assess the emergency lighting in the event of renovation or changed escape routes. From supply and assembly to inspection and maintenance: we handle the entire process in-house.
